How to Flash with SP Flash Tools


Step One:
Download and install drivers for your device. If you can’t find your device driver, us this guide to download and install the driver.

Step Two:
Download Sp Flashtool and the your phone’s firmware package.

Step Three:
Extract Sp FlashTool and your firmware package to different folders

Step Four:
Open SP FlashTool folder and launch SP Flashtool.exe as Administrator

Step Five:
Click on Scatter-loading, browse and select scatter file from the folder you extracted the downloaded firmware. (e.g, MT6582_Android_scatter.txt)

Step Six:
Click on Download and connect the device to PC via USB cable. Device must be turned off, before attaching to pc.

Step Seven:
Once the device is connected to PC, a progress bar will start loading. Wait for it to complete. A green circle with Ok should popup to indicate completion.

Step Eight:
Disconnect the device and perform a factory reset before you power on fully.
Done.

OPPO has just announce that a software to Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now available to be downloaded and installed. An extra benefit to upgrading to the latest version of the ColorOS is that it will allow the OPPO R9 Plus and R9 to have a dual-sim function with 4G+3G compatibility.

Below are the instructions on how to upgrade.

Upgrade instruction

Before you upgrade

- Make sure to back-up your data before you start the upgrade as all data will be wiped in the process.

- Make sure there is more than 40% battery.

- Make sure there is at least 1.5GB free storage space on the phone or micro-SD card to download the software installation package.

- The whole process of installation will take some time, please do not do other operations or power off your device during the installation process.

Installation Steps

1. Download the software package which correlates your model (R9 Plus, R9 or F1s) to the phone storage’s (or SD card) root directory (ie not in any sub-folders).

2. Go to Files – All files – (click SD card if you have downloaded the package to SD card) – select the zip file – Click Update now. (Figures below are shown as an example of SD card).

3.       Your device will then reboot and display the progress of upgrade (see figure below), which will take some time.  Please do not do other operations or power off your device during the process.

4.     After the progress bar is complete, the phone will reboot and remain on the OPPO logo for 3 to 5 minutes. Please do not power off the device as this is normal. 

5.       Once the phone is fully booted up, the standard start-up guide will show up to setup the language, region and Wi-Fi.  Upon completion of the guide, please check Settings – Dual SIM and mobile network – Preferred network type, and make sure you have selected 4G/3G/2G (Auto) as Preferred network type.

6.       And by now, congratulations, you have successfully upgraded the software.

Android Nougat OTA are now Available on Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ (G928A)

Android Nougat 7.0 is now available to be download via OTA on this devices called Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ (G928A).

The update weigh around 1.51GB, and includes Android 7.0 with the March 1 security patch level. It would be nice to see the April security patch level, but that's Samsung for you. Thankfully, the update removes some bloatware originally shipped with the phone, such as AT&T Address Book, MobiTV, and AT&T Live.

After AT&T and Sprint roll-out the availability of Android Nougat 7.0,Verizon Wireless today started rolling out Android Nougat updates to its Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+.

This is a Good development for the user of this devices Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ as we all know that this devices will soon be 2 years old.

The Nougat update is being pushed over the air to Verizon's Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ (pictured on the left), and it will probably take several days before all users receive it - patience is key here.   • Install MT65xx Preloader driver.
  • Open SP Flash tool folder and run flash_tool.exe.
  • Browse the scatter file from the Cherry Mobile Flare Selfie stock ROM folder.
  • Click Download button. Turn off your smartphone.
  • Hold either volume up or down then plug your device to the computer.
  • The process should now start once you see a yellow progress bar.
  • Wait for the process to finish.
  • Boot your device.

How to Install OxygenOS 4.1.3 Update on OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T



Method 1


1) Enable ‘USB debugging’ option from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.

3) Download ADB and fastboot driver for windows or ADB and Fastboot for Mac and install it on your PC.

4) Download the OxygenOS 4.1.3 for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T from above Copy ROM to a folder where adb installed.

5) Now Turn Off your phone and boot into recovery mode.

3) Choose Install from ADB Sideload

4) Now Connect your phone to Laptop/PC

5) On ADB folder press shift+right click and click on open command here.

6) Now check your connection by typing the below command
    adb devices

 if your device is listed, you’re ready to flash the ROM

7) Flash the Oxygen OS 4.1.3 on OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T by typing below command

   adb sideload File Name.zip

 8) Now wait until the process complete and then Reboot the phone.

2) Now Switch off your device and boot into the Recovery mode.

3) To boot OnePlus 3 into recovery mode press and hold ‘Power + Volume Down’ button.

4) Now your phone boot into the Stock recovery.

5) Now Select ‘Apply Update’ and select ‘Choose from Internal Storage‘

6) Now browse the OTA zip file which you download and save on your phone before.

Step Two:
Download Sp Flashtool and the your phone’s firmware package.

Step Three:
Extract Sp FlashTool and your firmware package to different folders

Step Four:
Open SP FlashTool folder and launch SP Flashtool.exe as Administrator

Step Five:
Click on Scatter-loading, browse and select scatter file from the folder you extracted the downloaded firmware. (e.g, MT6582_Android_scatter.txt)

Step Six:
Click on Download and connect the device to PC via USB cable. Device must be turned off, before attaching to pc.

Step Seven:
Once the device is connected to PC, a progress bar will start loading. Wait for it to complete. A green circle with Ok should popup to indicate completion.

Step Eight:
Disconnect the device and perform a factory reset before you power on fully.
Done.

In this article, I will show you how to install latest firmware version for this tablet, which is currently running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

An important information for the start - before you start to do anything with your Android phone, do the backup of your personal data. It is only for your safety in a case that something goes wrong or any mistake happens. In that case you can use the backup to restore the data and try to do everything once again. Each tutorial has been done many times to verify its propriety, so just read carefully all instructions and continue step by step. One more Warning for now - Huawei produce more types of every smartphone, so Huawei Mate S in Chine is not totally similar with Huawei Mate S in Europe. That is main reason, why there is chance, that you will download new firmware from this site, but when you start an update, there will be problem with installing and the phone will write something like - Software Install Failed. It is not a big problem, because your original firmware is still in your phone, but this mean that you need to find the corresponding firmware version for your smartphone. This can be also problem, when you are installing some kind of OTA (OverTheAir) update. When there is the OTA update available, there is always an information about version, which you have to be running before you start this OTA. For example if you want to install the OTA update number B331 for Huawei Mate 7, you need to be on the version B324 first. There is also many CUSTC numbers (every region and market can have different CUSTC - it mean, where the phone was originally sell), so also check this thing, before you start. But phone allow you only install the corresponding version, so go for it...

How to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware B202

1. First of all, check your firmware version

2. Make backup of all your personal data and charge a battery in your phone to 100% (optional)

3. Download Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Huawei MediaPad M2 8.0 WiFi

4. Unzip the downloaded file

5. Create folder dload in root of your internal storage or on your microSD card and place the update.app file here

6. Turn off you tablet and power it while holding all three buttons on right side

7. If you copy the update.zip file correctly, there will be installation now

8. Wait until update is done, you have latest firmware in your tablet
